During this 2 hour workshop you will learn the basics of glass fusing, which will enable you to go on and make two decorative glass items. A beautiful sun catcher and coaster for yourself or as a gift.

Topics covered:
  • How to cut glass
  • A variety of glass fusing techniques
  • How to assemble a variety of glass forms for firing
  • How to design with glass for your individual projects
You will practice first on some plain glass then get to choose from a wide range of coloured glass for your pieces.

This class is suitable for beginners, over 16+ only.

Please bring pictures for inspiration if you want to, but I will provide examples.

The price of the class includes use of equipment and all the materials you need to make 1 coaster and 1 sun catcher. If you have time and would like to make an additional item, there will be an extra charge to cover the cost of the materials.

Bethany is happy to run her classes with 2 or more people, if we only get one booking, we will cancel the session and offer the person booked a place on an alternate day or a full refund, which ever they prefer.

After the class all items will be taken away and fired in a kiln and will be ready for collection from The Fold or posted for £4, usually around 2 weeks after the class.
